- Dr. Alan Moore’s tenure on the board will be expiring and the group will need to elect a new vice chair. Members should consider whom they would like to nominate for our next meeting.
- Beverly Kemp, eRA Administrator, has separated from Lamar University. Her duties concerning IRB administration will be handled by Ryan Lee, Research Compliance Officer.

- IRB-FY24-5: A Qualitative Examination of Sex Offenders and the Registry in Texas by Vidisha Worley
- Investigators have provided responses to the Board’s questions in Cayuse as well as a document justifying the human subject questions on the survey of their proposed study.
- This committee found that the clarifications provided by the investigators did not properly address the questions laid out during the last review.
